  • Nominations are open for the 2025 WEA Education Support Professional of the Year. The award recognizes the invaluable impact that ESPs have on our families, schools and and profession. Our ESP members play a vital role on the education team and in students' lives inside and outside the classroom. They keep our schools running and our students safe, healthy and ready to learn every day. Deadline for nominations is Jan. 10, 2025.
  • Do you know of an individual or group making a difference in the world? Nominate them for a WEA Human & Civil Rights Award. Nominate an individual or group involved in exceptional work in the areas of community service, cultural awareness, international peace and understanding, and student involvement in Washington state. Anyone can nominate a person or group for these awards. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17.

    Did you know WEA is a leading professional learning clock-hour provider for educators and community partners in Washington state? WEA offers a wide range of courses throughout the year (many of which are free to members) to support your needs as a practitioner and leader. Find and register for trainings in high-demand subjects.
